We miss the Ziemann family terribly! They moved back to Austin a couple of years ago and it is a real bummer. Brittany, her mom Sheila, Presley, and Nash all came to visit SF for a couple of weeks in September and we were so excited to get to hang out with them twice!
On our first get together, they came over to our house. It was a whirlwind. Hank and Pres
were all over the place and screeching and running non-stop. It was really quite fun and I was so happy because Hank loooooved playing with Presley. Aaaaaaaaaa! Did I mention we miss this family?
It was extremely difficult to get Hank to slow down long enough to pose for a picture. He just wanted to keep playing. We finally got the big kids to calm down enough for us to be able to put Nash up on the couch with them. Nash is a sweet little thing. I was so happy to finally get to meet him and to introduce this crew to Ruby and Charlotte. Unfortunately, the girls were already down for nap by the time things slowed down enough to start snapping pictures. I know these kids will know each other forever so it would have been fun to have all of them in one picture together. Next time!
Brittany finally reigned Hank in by coercing him to sit in her lap to look at pictures on her camera. This lasted a few seconds before he was off trying to drag Presley to play with him again!
Our next get together was at the SF Zoo. We've been there with Brittany before and I love that we were able to do this again while they were in town. Sheila also went with us but I didn't get any pictures of her! This time, Brett was able to hang out with us. He took the day off of work. Yay!
This picture didn't really turn out well but I love how the giraffe is peeking in the photo.
We rented one of the jeep-wagon things so we could try to get the kids to let us push them sometimes. It worked out nicely to push Brett instead.

Just about the cutest picture. Presley has the best smile.

Oh yeah, Ruby and Charlotte were there too. Brittany was clever. She got a babysitter for Nash.
They were pointing to tell us which way they wanted to go next.
We can't wait to get together with them again. Hopefully we can talk Brittany into coming back to SF for two weeks again! We miss them!
