Annika & Brooks & Wiley visit!

Over Labor Day weekend, we had a special visit from our super fabulous friend Annika and her two boys Brooks & Wiley.  Sadly, her hubby Brett was not with her on this trip.  We missed having both sets of A & B together!  Before I recap their visit, let me just say right now that I am heart sick that we do not live in the same town as this crew.  Not only do we love Annika and Brett to pieces, we love their boys just as much.  Hank had so much fun having these two kiddos running around in the yard with him and dragging out every toy they could get their hands on.  It makes this momma so happy to see her boy having a blast and Hank was in another stratosphere of fun with these two boys!

On Friday, Annika and the boys came by to hang out for the afternoon and to grab dinner.  The boys explored the yard, "worked" on the fence, vacuumed the house, and basically touched or pulled out every single toy Hank owns.  When the night was done, the house was turned upside down and it didn't matter one bit because I had the biggest smile on my face from all the fun!

On Saturday, we met up with them for a little while on Stanford campus so we could let the boys run free and try to catch some pics of the crew together.  Again, Hank was totally in his element running around and climbing everything with the two boys.  I loved watching him chase Brooks and Wiley and how much happiness and unbridled joy he had while doing it.  I don't think I've ever seen him laugh as hard and as continuously as he did with them.

Ahhh I love this picture so much.  Annika is such a beautiful person and a beautiful mom and I just love how this picture shows this wonderful mom with her boys. 

Brooks is such a good big brother and was a gentle little leader with the two other boys.  I hope Hank turns into as good of a big brother as Brooks is!

We miss all of you so much.  Can't wait to get our brood together again!
