Stall tactics

 

This is one of Hank's new stall tactics.  He stops while we are walking and lays down on the ground.  I snapped these pics with my phone when we were leaving gym class at the Y last Monday.  We'd been hanging out like this for a few minutes so I figured since he already had passersby looking at me like I was a crazy parent I might as well take a few pics.  After I took these he then proceeded to kiss the ground.  And his kisses aren't closed mouth.  To make this stunt even cuter at one point he started saying "hi" and waving to people as they walked by all while his cheek was pressed to the ground.

He's done this same trick two more times this week at different locations and all of them smack dab in the middle of a sidewalk with other people watching!  Oh well, at least he's giggling and having a good time when he does this and he's not acting upset.  I'll take a happy stall tactic over a meltdown any day!
