Splish splash at the park

While Court was here I took full advantage of having an extra set of hands and we hit up three different parks during her trip.  On Saturday afternoon Brett, Courtney, Hank and I went to Mitchell Park to check out its water fountain splash pad.  After Sandy took Max there recently and gave it a good review I thought we should give it a try.  I am so glad we did!

Hank took a little while to get the hang of what this water contraption was all about but once he figured it out he was very excited and thrilled to be playing in the water.

Another highlight of this park is this car thing.  It was hard to get Hank off of it to let other kids play with it.

This park is a winner and I'm so glad we checked it out.  The only thing is I am not sure I could do this park without another adult helping me out (as I get bigger my speed is suffering).  There is so much for Hank to do here and he ran around non stop the whole time!
