I would love to have a house with an indoor basketball gym. It is so kid friendly it's ridiculous. Just toss your kids in there, close the door, and come back sometime later. Courtney's apartment building has one of these and the kids love it. Pearce and Luke ask to spend the night with her all the time and we think it's just so they can go play in the gym (just kidding, of course they want to come over and spend some QT with NeNe). While staying with Courtney we hit the court to let the kids get their ya-yas out every day, sometimes twice a day. Pearce and Luke spent the night over at Courtney's a couple of times while we were there. 2 bedroom apartment, 3 adults, 3 kids...fun! Obviously, as a result, everyone had some ya-yas to get out. I couldn't wait to get down there each day. It was soooooo much fun to watch Hank run around with complete freedom. It's also really fun to play ball with kids. We made up all kinds of games and everyone was dog tired when we would go back to Courtney's. I used to pride myself on my good throwing arm but for some reason, Pearce kept eluding me while we played dodge ball. He was able to hit me over and over again. I guess I'm not too swift in my flats. Brett, on the other hand, had no problem nailing the 7 year old Pearce with the ball. Is it mean that we had so much fun hitting him with a ball? In hind sight, maybe, but I guess you had to be there. We were all rolling with laughter every time one of us got hit with the ball. It brought out the kid in us adults and made the real kids howl with laughter.
