Days like this

Today was such a good day.  In addition to Hank being an extra funny and extra good little boy today, I got to take a cuddly nap with Ruby and Charlotte.  My heart is so full of love for my kids right now it almost hurts.  I honestly am having pangs (the good kind) in my heart right now every time I look at this sweet picture of Charlotte.  After I put Hank down for his nap this afternoon, I nursed the girls.  I was so sleepy when they were finished that I decided to ditch our schedule and try to coerce the girls to go to sleep with me instead of keeping them up to play for a while.  They happily complied.  The three of us slept all snuggled up together on my bed.  I slept with my arm draped across both of them, Ruby sandwiched between Charlotte and me.  It was perfect.  Ruby smashed her little face right up against mine while Charlotte held my hand and we slept for an hour.  When I woke up, Ruby did too so I swaddled her and moved her to the bassinet to finish her nap.  Charlotte didn't budge so I just watched her sleep for a while.

Is it crazy that I can't wait to stop swaddling them just so I can get pictures of them sleeping like this???

I know that the days are numbered before they start rolling around and I won't be able to do this with them anymore.  Oh it was so nice.  I think I'll try it again tomorrow.
