Sip sip
Since he started eating solid foods, we have been working with Hank to teach him how to drink water out of a cup. At the beginning, he couldn't figure out how to get the liquid out of the cup when the lid was on, so I got impatient and took the lid off. Since then, he has gotten very good at drinking out of a cup without a lid, but everyone knows you can't trust a baby to use a cup without a lid. One quick movement and you have a wet mess.
So, the past few weeks we have been working on using the lid on the sippy cup again. He's getting the hang of doing it by himself. He's not a pro, but we're getting better every time we try it out. He loves this cup from Wiley and Brooks. He pulls it out of his mouth and just stares at the animals on it. He loves to grip the handles too. The only downside to using the lid is that it takes a long time for him to drink the water. He likes to use the spout for teething!
