Grandpa with Ruby and Charlotte
Last September, my Dad came to visit us for four days. The kids had so much fun with him! Hank was glued to him the entire time he was here and Hank still talks about things that we did with Grandpa when he was in town.
This was Grandpa's first time ever to visit California! We couldn't let him make it all the way out here and not do a little bit of sightseeing, so we loaded everyone up one morning and squeezed in a visit to San Francisco.
We took him on a tour of a few sights and spent a lot of time in the Marina walking around. The Golden Gate bridge was foggy but we did catch a few glimpses of it. The skies were clear over where we were so we had a great view of Alcatraz.
Hank got worn out from all the walking and then started to stake his claim on Grandpa. He just decided to hop a ride on the stroller simply because Grandpa was pushing it.
We spent a lot of time playing outdoors and visiting parks while Grandpa was here. Hank was loving having an adult that could drop everything and walk to the park anytime Hank asked.
