First picnic

The girls went on their first picnic about a month ago!  Brett and I were itching to get to the park to enjoy a picnic with our little ones since we have limited time before the girls start crawling and then they won't stay on a park blanket!  While we often go to parks together, this was a treat to have enough time to spread out a blanket and just let everyone hang out and lounge on the grass.

Hank had been asking Brett for a kite for a while so earlier that morning they went to get a kite and Hank couldn't wait to try to fly it at the park.  Unfortunately, there wasn't enough wind and we have yet to have a day windy enough to fly it since!  We also brought a little bubble gun with us and Hank was very pleased.

 

 

 

My heart was very happy this day.  As I laid on the blanket watching my boys running around the park and my girls lounging next to me, I couldn't help but feel so blessed to have such a good life and a good family.  I'd say this first picnic was a good one!
