Getting up to speed on parenting tips to share with Brett and me.

By the way, this hat is on his head most of the time.  My friend Elizabeth hand-knitted it and gave it to me as a baby shower gift.  He started wearing it about a year ago but over the past several months it has turned into a constant accessory.  He sleeps in it during naps and at bed time.  He wears it around the house and even out and about.  I can't believe I don't have more pictures of him in this hat here on the blog because it seems like he is wearing it all the time.  Anyway, it's an adorable little hat and it is kind of like a lovie for him in that I think he sees it as a comfort item.  Sometimes when he is crying I ask if he wants his hat and when he puts it on he cheers up.  It's so sweet and I love that it was a handmade item from a very special friend!
