Ruby and Charlotte's first time in the van. Started out as a scream...
Ended up sleeping peacefully. Oh how I hated having to sit up front and not get to stare at them the whole way home. With Hank I sat in the back seat and watched him on that first car ride. With the girls, I couldn't fit back there with them since their seats take up the entire third row pretty much. Oh well!
When we got home, they were passed out.
They were so much smaller than Hank so we weren't used to seeing itty bitties in the car seat all slumped over and messed up looking. We have since remedied the situation and we use the rolled up receiving blankets on both sides of their bodies to help bolster them.
Hank was stoked to see the babies in HIS house. He looked so surprised that we actually brought them home with us!
Trying for our first official family photo. Didn't work out so well. We never got a shot with all of us looking at the camera because Brett and I got nervous with Hank trying to handle the girls.
Hank was adament that he get to hold his sisters again like he did the day before at the hospital. He kept sitting down and patting his hands on both sides of his legs indicating he wanted his sisters to sit next to him. It was pretty cute.
