Touch a truck

Last weekend Brett and Hank went to a "Touch a Truck" event with Brett's friend Chris and his daughter Teagan.  Here are some pics Brett took with his iphone.  Both kiddos must have had a great time because they both fell asleep and took naps on the way home.  To let the kiddos sleep a little longer Brett and Chris cruised around for a while in the minivan and ate lunch in the car on the go.  They came home after they had finished their In N Out (not cool for not bringing the pregnant woman any food, not cool at all).

Checking out a mail truck.  This was probably the highlight of his day because he really loves to point at mail trucks all the time.  When he sees them he says "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm truck".  This is because I overemphasized the "mmm" sound one day when I taught him how to say it and now he really really overemphasizes it.

This week Brett and Hank met up with Chris again but this time for lunch while I was across the street from Chris' office at a doctor's appointment.

Hank loves to write on the white boards at Brett's office so he immediately wanted to draw at Chris' as well.  Note how Brett embellished the board with "buy/sell" to set the scene like Chris was actually doing work on the white board.

Apparently Hank thought Chris was a lot more fun than his Dad during their lunch adventure because all he wanted to do was hang out with Chris and ride on his shoulders.  Since then Hank has been wanting to get on Brett's shoulders whenever we are out and about!
