Tomorrow I'll be 38 weeks and it is going to be an extremely exciting day! We were hoping to avoid any kind of intervention and let the twins come naturally but since I am about 6 cm dilated and 80% effaced (and the whole high risk pregnancy thing too) we really want to make sure that they are born in a hospital and not anywhere else (such as at our house or on the way there - my labor with Hank was very fast). After talking it through with our doctor earlier this week we decided the best thing for us was to get induced once we hit the 38 week mark, which is considered full term for twins.
We can't believe their birthday is finally here. We are so excited but we can't help but feel a little nostalgic for our nice little predictable life we have going right now as just a trio with Hank. Things are never going to be the same, but of course once we see our sweet little girls tomorrow we are going to be so glad our lives are changed forever.
Pardon the camera phone belly shot. The real cameras are packed away in the hospital bag and I'm not about to start pulling things out of there! I hope this will do for those of you who've been begging for one more shot! Please keep us in your prayers and we'll get some pictures of the newest additions up on the blog soon.
