The Kavals are champions!

On Sunday we had an absolute blast cheering on Ann & Peter as they conquered the Santa Cruz Half Marathon.  They did so awesome.  We were near the finish line and they came cruising in as if it was no big deal.  They crushed much of the competition if I may say so.  Afterward, we were hanging out at a restaurant within sight of the finish line and there were tons of people making their way across the finish line for a very long time after they came in.

The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed spending the morning with Paula and Jim (Peter's parents) as we waiting for our favorite athletes to finish the race.  An added bonus to this morning was that Brett and I got to have some pancakes.  Hank loved seeing the ocean and he was excited every time a seagull swooped overhead.  We are looking forward to taking him out to the ocean soon so he can play on the beach!

Way to go Peter & Ann!  We are so very proud of you!!!!
