More grocery shopping

This past weekend we got desperate.  It was raining again for what seemed like the hundredth day in a row and we needed to find something to do or else we were all going to go stir crazy.  I had to pop in to Safeway on Friday to pick up something and while I was there I saw this thing parked over to the side by the front door.  I took a picture of it just so I could show Brett.  On Saturday when we started getting cagey I told Brett about the humongous blue shopping cart for kids and he was sold.  We headed off to the store we rarely shop at just so we could entertain our kid.  Again, the grocery store saves the day!

Hank normally lasts just a few minutes in regular shopping carts these days before he starts yelling and trying to turn around in the seat (despite being securely strapped in) to try to reach stuff in the cart.  In this fun thing he was also yelling but it was because he was happy.  It also played a cartoon on a tv screen inside next to Hank but he didn't care about that very much.  All in all this was fun for him, killed over an hour for us and we all left very happy.  Although, we did look totally ridiculous pushing this thing around the store.

This week is looking fabulous so far.  The rain has stopped and we've already been out and about enjoying the beautiful sunshine by going on walks, visiting the library twice and playing at the park.  Tomorrow it's supposed to get into the 70's.  Yay spring!
