This was my favorite animal exhibit that day. I was in awe of how the giraffe drank the water. I guess I never gave much thought before this about how a giraffe would go about stooping down for a drink. I just thought it was so cool to see him work his feet outward little by little to get his mouth closer and closer to the water. He was standing so close to us and that made it even awesomer. (Not a word but I like it.)
Presley proudly displaying our tickets for the steam train.
Watching the carousel turn with She She and Presley as we wait for our turn. As a side note, all day long She She referred to Hank as Brett. She thinks Hank looks just like him. She's known Brett since high school so maybe she sees a little bit of the younger Brett in Hank!
Hank's first carousel ride. He LOVED it. I kinda want to find one closer to home so we can go do it again. It was lots of fun to see how much Hank enjoyed it. I thought he might get scared (what with the weird music and somewhat scary looking animals.)
Going to the zoo was a lot of fun but I was exhausted. Hank wanted to walk most of the time (although I tried my hardest to coerce him into his stroller) and he doesn't exactly walk in the direction I want to go. Ever.
