Baller

It was almost 100 degrees here today - crazy! It's been the coolest summer in a long time and then all the sudden we get super hot. It gave me a reason to put Hank in this adorable bubble outfit he received from his friend Jackson. I love these kind of outfits on baby boys because it makes them look so much more "baby" instead of "little boy". I'd like to keep this little guy a baby as long as possible.

One of Hank's favorite toys is this blue ball. He will chase it around the house and entertain himself with it and it is fun to watch him. He picks it up and throws it with two hands then furiously crawls to chase it down. He shrieks with delight when he catches the ball or stops it from rolling past him. I've been trying to teach him how to dribble and do figure eights between his legs but he hasn't been able to quite catch that yet. He loves it when we kick it down the hall and make him go get it. It's a great way to buy me a few minutes of non-Hank time. Today, to beat the heat, we played in the hallway (which was one of the cooler spots in the house) for a good 15 minutes with the ball. With this 8 month old, 15 minutes is like forever.
