Seven months

Happy Seven Month Birthday to Hank!

These pictures pretty much sum up what he's been up to the last month: standing and crawling. It has been a non-stop month of chasing him down. He is getting stronger and more adventurous by the day!

The first picture is of Hank doing jail time...in the pack and play. Sometimes I have to corral the kiddo because the crawling isn't good when I need to get stuff done! The second is of him crawling and chasing down his own shadow. He loves to see shadows and he gets so excited when he sees the baby on the floor and he likes to go after it. It entertains him for at least a good 2 minutes which seems like eternity these days!

This has been the most exciting month so far...he learned to stand and also sit back down, started eating solids, crawls like a pro (instead of crawling on his tummy like he was doing last month), sleeps through the night, responds to his name (Henry), sits without support, and he's just as happy as can be. He's turning into a little boy before our very eyes. When he was crawling on his tummy I felt like he was getting so big but that is nothing compared to how big he seems now. Now that he's crawling on his knees and pulling up and taking little steps while holding on to furniture, it seems like he's less and less of a little baby every day. How come they have to grow up so fast???
