Make your own latte

I just got to work and it has been a ridiculous morning for me. We had to get out the door a little earlier than normal this morning so instead of making my own latte at home, I decide to stop at Pete's on the way to work. Big mistake. Somehow, they gave me a cup that had a slow leak in the bottom of it. I didn't notice this until I had been drinking it in the car for about 5 minutes. I looked down and there was coffee all over me. At the time, it was kind of funny and despite the fact that my outfit was really messed up I decide to just go to work anyway and not go home to change since I was already on the highway. I made a contraption out of napkins and a small plastic bag I had in the car to wrap the cup so I could drink the rest of it without further damage. Right as I was getting to work, my little contraption failed and coffee spilled all over me. Not just a small spot - we're talking all over me. I look like I poured a cup of coffee all over my shirt and pants. It's very funny that this happened to me not once, but twice. As I write this, the aroma of coffee is all around me and I'm afraid it's going to be like this all day. I am going to strategically walk around the office today so as to avoid being stared at.

Moral of the story: From now on, always make my own latte with the nice espresso machine I have at home.

P.S. It just occurred to me...could I be addicted to my lattes? The mere fact that I made a contraption to enable me to finish my latte is an indication. I know I am not addicted to the caffeine, because I could drink decaf and still be happy. I think it's time to admit that I am in fact addicted to drinking coffee. I ruined my outfit just to keep drinking my latte! This just cracks me up.

I'd say you are addicted... I however, not a fan of coffee. I do enjoy the smell though!
