Patience

To all the fans of the Blogtacular who have been sending in requests for more posts...you'll have to have some patience. Not much is going on in my world that warrants a blog post...no babies (see Annika's blog for that), no vacation, and no adventures have taken place this week...but because you are really wanting some info I am going to tell you about my low key weekend.

This was the second weekend that Brett was gone and it was very different than the activity filled weekend I had last weekend. It's really boring and quiet around here without Brett. He is quite funny and we have fun together even when we're not doing anything but sitting around. In case you are getting worried about me being homebound all weekend, fear not, I did leave the house. On Friday night, I went to my friend Julie's birthday cocktail party in San Jose and it was my one social outing for the weekend and it was a good one! On Saturday, I went to the mall and left empty handed - how annoying.

So without Brett at home, all the pressure is on Ellie to entertain me. She tries, but honestly, all she wants to do is lay around. Even when I got the great idea this afternoon to rearrange the bedroom furniture while she was laying on the bed, all she wanted to do was lay there. She didn't even budge while I pushed the bed around. Yes, that's how bored she was today and that's how bored I was today...I cleaned house and rearranged the furniture.

See, there's not much going on here to write about. I am headed to Texas on Thursday evening and will be there for a little over a week and since I am seeing Brett/family/friends and going to Playa del Carmen for one of the weekends, I'll have plenty to write about.

Have some patience. I promise I'll be a bloggin' fool soon enough. ;)
